Seasonal rituals & wisdom for the earth year.
The hot breath of summer begins to wind into cooler fall nights. The corn is "as high as the elephant's eye" and festivals, fairs and carnivals abound. The sun and rain have lovingly bathed the land for many months and the wee seeds we planted are mature and full of life.
We feel the excitement of the first harvest of the season. Our hard work is beginning to bear fruit. This is where we begin the Autumn Session of Mystery School. Sacrifice, death, rebirth, nurturance, transformation are all aspects to consider at this time of year. We must consider the joys of life and the ways we may fill up our inner well with the life, light and nutrients from the sun and plants at this time of year, in preparation for the dark nights and cold ahead. |
