I was working with a client, the other day and she asked how to calm her anxiety before bed as she was having trouble sleeping. I think most of us can relate to this. The spinning thoughts and body tension that can follow us into the sleeping hours. Sometimes we can be awoken by our minds in the middle of the night, and it will keep us up for hours. That tension, shallow breathing, worry, anxiety, fear, restlessness...these are all signs of a Nervous System on overdrive. This feeling can come from current situations, past experiences, past traumas, future thinking and more (being human)! This is a common thing I work on with people when we are doing Energy Healing, we clear out stuff that often disrupts our inner peace such as other people's energy, outdated beliefs and disregulating energetic patterns, to name a few. There are many ways to help calm our nervous system, I think you will find the exercise below a helpful tool for your "increased enjoyment in life" toolbox.
