Healing with our ancient connection with nature

Magical Hands and Healing Energy

10/10/2015

Our hands are powerful conduits.  They can convey so much about what we are thinking and feeling.  They are the way we literally touch the world. Hands give and receive pleasure. Through the hands we connect with each other, feel each other and convey a whole lot of non verbal communication.

Our hands are our built in healing 'tools'.  We know that touch produces Oxytocin (a hormone in the body) which relaxes us, reduces anxiety and helps us build trust with others.

Because of these sensitivities the hands are a beautiful and instinctive way to begin to work with healing energy for our selves and others.

How to Begin Working with Healing Energy

Picture
  1. Take a look at your hands. Notice the size and shape, the creases and smoothness.
  2. Take the index finger on your right hand and trace around the outside of your left hand.
  3. Next stroke the palm side of your left hand.
  4. Now, change hands and use your left index finger to trace your right hand. Then stroke the palm of your right hand.
  5. Notice the sensitivity of your hands and how touching them in this way seems to 'wake' them up.
  6. Now, press your palms together (like the photo above) and begin to slowly rub them up and down.
  7. Now rub them faster until they feel heat. Let the heat build for a few moments.
  8. Stop rubbing and hold your palms about two inches apart. What do you feel?! That is a tangible sensation of energy moving through your hands.
NEXT
  1. Press your palms back together and close your eyes.
  2. Imagine breathing gold light in and out through your heart.  Press your palms to your heart.
  3. Connect to an expansive feeling of love inside you.
  4. Imagine that golden love magnetizing to your hands.
  5. Press your palms back together and rub up and down until you feel heat in them.
  6. Then, take your hands and place them on a part of your own body that feels achy, sore or painful.
  7. As your hands rest there feel the love and golden light infusing that part of you. Breathe into the sensations.
  8. Practice!  Try it out on your friends and family.
The more you practice the more familiar you will become with how energy moves and how to use this energy for healing.
Blessed Be!

It never ceases to amaze me the way the universe works. It is no coincidence that I dove into this blog exactly 1 year after you started it. What beautiful timing! Now I can enjoy entries from this year and last. Thank you for sharing your wonderful wisdom, you are incredible.
