Waves of Grief

Let's take a moment to take a breath together. Let's feel the collective support that comes from this small act, knowing that there is possibly someone else in this newsletter's community doing the same at the same time you are.

My grief is deep. My words are caught in my throat. My heart is broken.

I am speaking of the recent mass shooting here in Boulder, CO. This act of violence has rocked this small community. The energetic reverberations can be felt throughout the city. The trauma field is palpable, we are all grieving. So much has been lost, so many affected.

There are other communities grieving as well. There have been over 100 mass shootings in the US since the beginning of 2021 alone. This is unspeakable.

If you are here reading this, I know you are a sensitive being and you feel the energies of these trying times in a unique way.

Yesterday, a friend and I went to the King Soopers area (where the shooting took place), to do some healing on the beings there, both in their physical forms and their etheric forms. I noticed many things from our time spent there, both the light and the shadow, as there are energies that feed on both. There is a lot of healing that the place and beings need. You can help by sending healing energy to this place, if that feels right to you.

Most striking was the huge altar that the community has built along the perimeter there. Flowers and candles and signs and personal letters and stuffed animals are all there. The beauty of this altar is in contrast to the horror just beyond and this gives me hope for our world.

I know that my process has been multifaceted regarding this. I have had different layers of things come up on different days. It has been hard and confusing and disorienting at times.

I share this with you as a way to let you know that you are not alone and that whatever you are feeling is exactly right, from anger to shock to depression and everything in between. Your feelings and emotions matter.
