This recipe is for deep work with the magic and power of plants to facilitate our own healing and forgiveness, whether it be of yourself or of others.

You will need:

Hyssop: This herb has been used for a very long time as a purification herb and is renowned for its holy properties, that connected it to sacred rituals for healing and cleansing holy spaces, the body and spirit.
Hyssop was used for anointing and used to make magical wands.
In this tea we use hyssop for its cleansing aspects which help create space within and are so powerful for forgiveness.

Basil: Basil has been grown in the Mediterranean for thousands of years. Basil is used as an herb for courage and to help open the heart. It is a plant that has been held sacred to many cultures from India, to Greece, to England to Mexico.
Some folk names for basil are "our herb" and "witches herb".
An open heart is important for forgiveness work and basil helps to banish that which keeps us from our heart's opening and assists with faith, clarity and compassion.

Rose: Steeped in legend and a long history filled with adventure, love, life, romance and death, the rose is a powerful archetype and protector. Its beauty and sweet smell take us directly into our own sensual and spirited connection to nature and our selves.
Rose is confidence building and strengthening. It helps to soften our rough edges and open a full doorway to forgiveness.
